Some, but not all, states have followed the Federal change of the tax filing and payment deadline to July 15th. Two additional timing issues that were resolved in the past few days.
(1) Georgia has also moved its tax filing deadline from April 15th. Georgia budget concerns about not receiving a large influx of tax money in April delayed the decision.
(2) The deadline for making IRA and Roth contributions will now be extended to July 15th.
