Correction on Who Files for Unemployment Benefits Post


A correction to our March 31st post,  If I Cut My Employees' Hours, Should We File for Unemployment?

if your business is laying off an employee and NOT planning to hire them back, the employee should file their own unemployment claim.


If you are temporarily reducing employees' hours or temporarily laying them off, the business should file the unemployment claim.
