Taxpayers who are trying to find out the status of their IRS coronavirus stimulus payment have been advised to check the status Get My Payment website.
The challenge is that, for most people, the tracking site isn't working. The site responds with errors saying the stimulus status cannot be tracked, such as "we cannot determine your eligibility for a payment at this time" or "payment status not available".
