Self Employed Individuals Can Apply for Stimulus Funding Starting April 10th

Self employed individuals with businesses that have no employees can begin to apply for government funding through the Paycheck Protection Program on April 10th.  This group includes people who file the Schedule C on their tax returns and gig workers.

Payroll costs are equal to the net profit from the business for the year.  The annual net profit is divided by 12 to equate to a monthly salary.

The guidelines rules have not yet been finalized for this sector.  We will post them when they are available.
