Why Couldn't I Apply for Payroll Protection Funding With Wells Fargo?

Now we know the reason that Wells Fargo closed its application window for the Payroll Protection Program so quickly.  The bank’s activities were sanctioned and limited because of penalties for opening unapproved accounts for customers in earlier years.
